One of the things i find difficult when i'm not well is to be gentle with myself. I hate not being well and i hate not being able to do things. I do find my positive steps challenge helps me with this though....rather than it being a list of things i HAVE to do and one to beat myself with when i don't manage everything though, it has become a way to help me manage my limitations. It helps to motivate me when i feel low in mood, but it also helps me to be more realistic about my expectations of myself. There is something quite powerful about writing things down while also acknowledging how i am feeling each day.
So today i am sticking with the being gentle with myself :)
I would like to:
do a wash - done :)
hang wash up to dry - done :)
tidy living room - some done....
do some crafting - done :)
list another 2 things on ebay - done :)
make a payment off credit card
