Crafty Things

Well i got lots done yesterday off my big rollie list :) It feels good i have to say! Just a couple of wee rollies to bring forward:

pay credit card
do some knitting

Apart from those i am going to do something a little bit different today - still stepping as usual but i am going to focus on my crafting.

I have just recently got back into making things again after being away from it for a while - i tend to get creative bursts and times when my head just doesn't want to think about making things.  I'm in a burst of activity right now and enjoying it again.  I do need to try and sell some of my makes though so I am trying to get the word out about my crafting again.  So far i have set up a fb page, an Etsy account and an account on a local craft fair website.  

My makes are all in different places in the house though and this is making it difficult to even list photos - i honestly don't know what i have available right now.  So first step has to be:

put all completed makes into clear storage box
put WIP (work in progress) makes into another clear storage box

Take photos of completed makes

List items on:

fb page
selling cafe page
selling cafe blog
Etsy
Local site (10 items)
pinterest

decide which items to take to local shops.

Am looking forward to getting this lot sorted out because its holding me back from promoting and selling!

Starting to get back on track

Its only been a few days since i started stepping again, but already i am feeling much more 'on track' than i did before.  I often have days when i don't manage to complete the steps for the day, but thats ok - i am the rollie queen LOL! 

Rolling over steps to the next day means i do eventually reach my goals, it might take a bit of time but this method allows me to work to my own pace. 

Today i have lots of rollies:

have a tidy round the living room - done! 
hoover downstairs
brush the stairs - done! 
pay credit card 
check when i get money again - done! 
do some work on knitting order - aim for 1 full pattern section (did a couple of rows yesterday but not full pattern)
Complete at least one page for blog - done! 
Do some page promotion on fb - done! 

A few extra things to do:

move another box from hallway - i will clear it eventually!!  - done! 
Take berocca - done! 
contact Anna - done! 
do another wash - done! 
make stew - done! 

I should get through these ok today!

Feeling more positive :)

Good Morning Everyone :) I am happy to report i am feeling much more positive today! It always amazes me how a few simple steps can really change my mood, but it does so consistently.  Stepping really does help me manage my depression (and my life) a lot better.

So today i would like to work on some of my ongoing goals:

Rollies from yesterday:

parcel up sales ready to post - done! 
do some meal planning - done! 

Keeping the house clean and tidy

have a tidy round the living room
hoover downstairs
brush the stairs
move another box from hallway - done! 

Keeping on top of my finances

pay credit card 
check when i get money again
post sales - done! 
do some work on knitting order - aim for 1 full pattern section
contact J about order - done! 

Developing my business idea

Complete at least one page for blog
Do some page promotion on fb

Maintaining Health

Leave letter in to doc from hospital - done! 
Take berocca - done! 


Ok so i think that is it for today.....quite a lot really but i'm sure i can make it through the list :D

I'm so Rubbish

It is very rare indeed for me to write the words "i'm so rubbish" or any similar statement.  I completely believe in being careful about how i talk to myself having been through years of being called stupid, weird, i would never amount to anything etc etc etc.  So why have i written it today? Its simply a reflection of how i am feeling right now, and the reason for me returning to this challenge.....I know it helps me feel better so here i am. 

So, after having spent a few days feeling poorly and battling with headaches etc i feel like i need a bit of a push back into life's necessary routine.  I feel like i have done nothing for days.

So today i would like to:

do a wash - done   
wash dishes - done   
move at least one of the boxes from hallway - done   
parcel up sales ready to post
do some meal planning
reschedule psychiatric appointment - done   
do some knitting - done   
have a shower - done   

My general aim with these steps is just to get myself moving and back into doing something productive. 



I know i can do it, i just need to decide to do it.....

Too Much Stuff

I still feel like i'm going round and round in circles - I tidy then i have to move stuff then it needs tidying again! I know i just have too much stuff, but it is selling this stuff that pays my bills so i don't want to just dump it.  I'm getting through it slowly but surely but it drives me mad on a daily basis lol! 

Today then i want to:

clear the living room floor (again)
hoover downstairs
start clearing the bedroom floor
buy 2 power cables for printers
talk to Sarah about page on blog
ring mechanic
check psychology appt
write post for daily earning blog

Those are the main ones, i might add some more later lol!

Return to Routine

Well, as part of my plan yesterday i said i would start posting here again first thing in the morning.....so here i am :) 

Today i need to keep working on some of the things i identified yesterday (otherwise known as a rollie list) because i didn't get much done from it yesterday.  So today i want to:

Finish tidying downstairs
Ask OH to help with bookcase
Take photos of oil burners
List 5 new things (going to aim for 10 as i did none yesterday)
Give out selling cafe leaflets

Also some new things:

Finish new page for Selling Cafe Blog
Write post for daily earning blog
Start working on tidying bedroom
Empty the car
Ring mechanic
Check Psychology appt. 
Contact bank about mortgage

That should keep me busy today all right lol!

Doing 100 things at once....

Ok, i have to confess yet again about not posting.....i'm very naughty i know LOL! 

Actually i am doing quite a lot of things, but am i being effective? ummmmmm no........why would that be???? Cos i'm not stepping of course! 

I have got out of my little routine of posting on here first thing in the morning, so here are my plans to help me get back into that:

Everyday for the whole month of Dec i will post here FIRST (do you think i will manage it?) 

Also today i would like to:

Tidy up downstairs - its been tidied well a few days ago so a quick 30mins tidy will do it
Ask OH to help me move bookcase that has been sitting in the hallway for over a month waiting to go upstairs
post parcels
take photos of oil burners
add 5 new things to online selling sites
test out the buy now option for my selling cafe blog
give out some selling cafe leaflets
call into craft shop with new products

That little lot should keep me busy and will get me moving my bum - i've had that feeling of not knowing where to start recently and am trying to juggle about 100 things at one time, but i have done very little as a result. It just doesn't work, so back to stepping and stopping all that headless chicken syndrome stuff!
